In our sessions you will discover ways to tell your story through photography. You will learn basic photography skills as well as techniques needed to be present in the moment. This portion of the class will be focused on resiliency, as well as giving you the tools to tell your story in a productive and healthy manner by the use of photography. You will leave the workshop with an understanding and practice of how the exposure triangle works, as well as a brief introduction to Gestalt Theory and why it is used in photography. In this session we will build on the tools learned in our previous sessions and dig deeper into Gestalt Theory.

This will be a 1 hour session with a mix of indoor class time, as well as an outdoor hands-on training session.

Required Materials:

Camera with lens, SD card, notebook, and pencil. Loaner Camera available upon request.

In our one-on-one trauma sessions, We utilize this time to get to know each other, while creating a safe, supportive space where you can share your story at your own pace.

This will be up to a 2 hour session, and can be over coffee, lunch,etc
